Being creative at the light table,
in the dance atelier,
and in the classroom studio.
David told the story of "The three little pigs"
Children made their own versions of the story.
They used clay to build a house.
They reinforced their house made of wooden blocks to keep out the wolf!
They added a chimney as they retold the story.
I introduced a telephone to encourage the development of their own version of the story.
They called the hunters to come and get the wolf.
When we came back together the children were able to tell David their own version of the story.
We have been climbing, balancing, digging and finding 'magical places' in our outside environment.
|We each looked carefully in the mirror to draw our self portrait.|
D. and A. share a book in Russian.
We love sharing books!
